Continue reading »]]> I’m just back from Sonora, Mexico. I was delighted and surprised by the place, people and special accommodations. The pitch perfect luxury boutique hotel Hacienda de los Santos is tucked into the laid back colonial town of Alamos, which many visitors have compared to San Miguel de Allende before it got so crowded. Cobblestone streets, perhaps my favorite luxury boutique hotel ever, plenty of authentic Mexican atmosphere and a few excellent restaurants are inviting and the people are warm and welcoming.
